Small Flockers understand and supports, even if few others do.
There is talk of an underground movement for supporting and defying the Montreal by-law. In June 2013, this issue was the first to be able to activate the municipal public meetings and review of the By-law by the huge response to the petition in support of backyard chickens.
What should this say to government officials?
A blog to communicate, discuss, and advocate for the civil rights and important role Small Flock Poultry Farmers can play (and should play) in Canadian Society. Small Flockers are on the side of justice & truth, and against privilege & power. Unfortunately, the more we compromise with privilege and power, the more we reduce the capacity for truth and justice.
